New job clothes haul

Hi all,

So on Monday I started a new job in a career I really think I could sink my teeth into; caravan sales.  I know this may sound boring but trust me it really isn't, and the amount of money within this industry is just an insane amount! Some people are willing to spend near on £200,000 for a holiday home which you  aren't allowed to live in. But honestly they are beautiful and some are like mini houses and bungalows with all the mod cons you could imagine.

Anyway, this is my first proper job after finishing uni and is a job where I have to wear my own clothes and haven't been given a putrid coloured uniform- brilliant!! Therefore prior to my first day I went on a shopping spree and thought I'd share with you the goodies that I purchased.

Firstly, I bought two blazers as I believe they are a staple item when it comes to work wear. The one on the left is a plain black blazer and the right has a fancy White edging.  So far I have worn the black blazer every day as its so comfortable and versatile, and the only downside that I have found is that it doesn't have any pockets... Not ideal.  The second came from an eBay concession and although It is slightly too small for me I still love it and definitely I'll will wear it soon enough.

Another staple in the work wardrobe are definitely some flattering dresses (yay lucky me!). On the left in the picture below is a fitted black and grey shift dress which is definitely gorgeous on me as well as upon the hanger. My problem is that I'm not only one size in clothes (I'm sure like most women), I vary between a 10-12 normally but then again may not fit either size, so I found with this H&M dress that it was more comfortable to go for the larger size (12)  as it gave more give and yet didn't look ill fitting. On the other hand, the plain black dress I  originally bought in a size 12 without trying on, because It was too busy at the changing rooms, and have found that I will need to go back for a smaller size (result!). The main bonus of the Primark dress is that it's got included pockets which means I won't need to wear a jacket with it in the heat of summer.

Finally here is a pencil skirt I simply fell in love with, that I hope after a few weeks I'll be brave enough to be able to wear it to work. I hope you agree about how gorgeous it is, it is made from a velvet material with the black pattern standing out from the red.   The only problem is I need to go find some other items of clothing to go with this skirt; such a shame!

I would really appreciate it if some of you guys could suggest some chic and smart work wear you suggest I wear during my successful future?

Ta ta for now.
